The Robotics & Automation - E-M Tech (Electro-Mechanical Technology) is a new program at Madison College to develop new talent for Robotics and Automation in manufacturing careers. Graduates of this Associate Degree program work with engineers, developing, designing, testing, implementing, maintaining and installing automated systems and technologies, such as Robotics, PLCs and Vision Systems.

It's regional tournament time! Eighteen teams are competing to move on to the next level tournament. Madison College & program provides some entertainment with our sandbox. FANUC Robotics - Remote Start from ControlLogix PLC This video is a continuation from our video on exchanging DI/DO signals between a FANUC Robot and a Rockwell Automation ControlLogix PLC. Be sure to watch it...
Our students are working on a palletizing project for Promega Corporation In order to get more reach, we mounted the FANUC America Corporation on a 45° base. Video is showing the robot being jogged via - this really shows the power of a fully articulated 6-axis robot. Nothing fast and fancy yet. That's coming later! Stay tuned. One of the coolest product demos we saw at Werner Electric Supply event this week, was the demo with a and a Process Trainer. Rockwell Automation, Inc. demonstrated virtual repair and assembly procedures on one of the units. listen to the full video for more information.
