We are looking to fill the last few remaining spots for our Get Kids Ready 4K program! The program runs from September 1, 2026 - April 7, 2027.

Say hello to these beautiful Silkie chicks!🐥 The newest addition to our Preschool!

When the flyer came across, Ms. Dar knew we had to support alumni Nora! Nora collected the eggs herself and decided to incubate the eggs. From then on, she has done a wonderful job raising the newly hatched chicks. To support our alumni, Ms. Dar bought the three chicks that were left to raise here at Little Explores Nature Center Preschool.

Nora decided to incubate the eggs two different ways; in the incubator and under the broodie hen. Nora was able to witness two of them hatch in the incubator and 1 of them under the broodie mama! You can see the chick peaking out under the mama. There is also a video that shows just how excited Nora was when one hatched in the incubator!

Thank you Nora for being so wonderful and bringing us Silkie chicks! You did a fantastic job!

This week our Great Plains AB class teamed up with Ms. Susan from Sprig Plant Nursery to replant our pollinator waystation!
Ms. Susan brought 10 different varieties of native pollinators that will bloom from early spring to late fall and provide food and shelter to native wildlife year-round. 🪻🦋

Check out the booklet she left with us by the front office and enjoy the native blooms as they grow in!
