what brought you to AΩE? “I initially came to A.O.E. recruitment because of the professional and philanthropic opportunities with other women and stem, but I stayed because of the close bond and sisterhood I witnessed between members during recruitment. It seemed like such a valuable and supportive community that I would love to be a part of.”

what’s something you want sisters to know about you? “I’ve recently been getting into music production!”

what brought you to AΩE? “I was interested in becoming a sister, because of the community! I think it’s really important for students specifically women in STEM to find community, especially at such a big school. I also really enjoy that everyone has the common goal of gaining professionalism in their fields of STEM, but also we are all so different and showcase our own individual traits and quirks which make it even more special.”

what’s something you want sisters to know about you? “I just got my Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) license which I’m really excited about!”

what brought you to AΩE? “I wanted to try something new and push myself out of my comfort zone for my junior year. I think, especially as a junior, people are really closed off to new friendships so I wanted to join because it seems like a great chance to meet new people while expanding on my professional and career goals as well.”

what’s something you want sisters to know about you? “I recently got promoted at the Nick Rec Center to Member Services Assistant!”

It has been nice to find a warm and welcoming community of so many wonderful people who are also in STEM classes and majors. Along with that, it has been great to gain leadership experience and grow as individual within in such a supportive environment!”

favorite AΩE memory?: “This is more general but I have really enjoyed getting to know all of the new people that join as well as talking to current sisters I don’t know as well at events!”

This Saturday AΩE hosted the first annual Spike It Forward Volleyball tournament! It was super successful with 53 contestants!

Women in STEM took first place, taking home a $100 & $50 gift cards! Bring Back Rath Tots were the runner-ups, and were awarded with a gift basket!
