The 2nd Grade Team at Thoreau participated in Better World Week on Friday with an incredible celebration of learning and advocacy. Families enjoyed a gallery walk featuring students’ high-quality work from their pollinator unit, along with breakfast and a short performance. In the afternoon, students, staff, and families joined together in a parade and march to advocate for protecting pollinators.
