Happy World Bicycle Day! Biking isn't just a way to get to class at UW–Madison, it's part of the Wisconsin Experience.

We're proud to be one of only nine universities in the country with a Platinum-level Bike Friendly University designation (double-platinum since the City of Madison has the distinction, too!).

Biking culture goes beyond campus, too. Badger Volunteers regularly take part in the Bikes for Kids charity, tuning up rides so kids can roll out safely.

With miles of lakeside trails, some of the best spots in Madison are explored on two wheels. Whether you're cruising down the Lakeshore Path or just picking up groceries, it's a great way to experience campus.

We can't wait to see students on the paths this fall!
