Last Friday Math Club had the privilege of doling out some hardware for our student accomplishments for the recently participated in WMC State Math Meet and Purple Comet Math Meet. In addition to this, some of our members also got a very special gift.
Several months ago, we presented our members with a math challenge from the Math Horizons publication, which is published by the Mathematical Association of America. Anyone that completes the challenge has the honor of being published in the magazine. With that said, a huge congratulation goes out to Abbott Carlson, Ellis Duffy, Henry Kysely, and Qian Pasch as they were able to complete the challenge and have been immortalized in the April 2026 copy of Math Horizons Magazine. Each member was presented with a copy of the publication and there will be a copy of it placed in the LMC to be remembered as a piece of East's Math Legacy.

Dodici (twelve in Italian) is a select vocal ensemble for 11th and 12th grade treble voices at Madison East High School. Now in their ninth year, Dodici has performed all over the Madison area for concerts, fundraisers, and events. Performing a mix of chamber-style vocal music along with folk & pop arrangements, their harmonies and blend rival those of professional ensembles. In their featured concert debut, they will be performing songs they have learned throughout the school year, including pieces by Fiona Apple, Stevie Wonder, Peter, Paul, & Mary, The Beatles, and more. All proceeds from this show will go to the East Choir Department and scholarships for the performers.
