It has been about 14 months since we had to close due to COVID-19. We are eager to reopen as soon as we we feel it is safe to do so. You might have heard on June 2, 2021, the Dane County Mask Mandate is set to expire. What does that mean for the martial arts school? We will change our classes to NINJA TRAINING! We will be requiring masks in class and upon entering the school. If you do not have a mask, we will be able to provide some masks for people to use. Let's continue to do our part in protecting the other age groups whom are not eligible to get the vaccines right now.

In the next few weeks, we will be interviewing our instructors about their year off from the martial arts school, what it is like to exercise and wear a mask and why they wear masks.

Please reach out to us if you have any questions and stay tuned!

Happy holidays, everyone! We are hoping to reopen our School soon. :) We will keep everyone updated. Please stay safe! We miss everyone.

Hi everyone, we hope you have a wonderful holiday today!

Due to the increase in COVID-19 and wanting to keep everyone as safe as we can, we will be closed until September 1st. We miss everyone dearly, but we value your safety. We will be reaching out in mid-August about our classes, the times and answer any questions or concerns you may have about what we are going to do as a school to ensure the safety of the students.

School is closed today. See you on Monday!

06/08/2020

We’ve missed you so very much, and we are SO excited to announce we will be opening our doors TODAY 6/8/2020.

As you know, you won’t be returning to the same class you left. Until the threat of the virus is behind us, we have to take precautions to make sure we can stay open. Here’s some of the things we are doing to keep our class safe for everyone:

1. Class with be 40 minutes long and there will be 3 classes. There will be a class size limit of 10 student per class.
5:00pm to 5:40pm
5:40pm to 6:20pm
6:20pm to 7pm

2. We will be minimizing the contact between students by going to more basics and forms format.

Here’s how you can help keep our class safe for everyone:

1. Wait outside until it’s time for your class. We want to limit the amount of people in the facility at one time.

2. Wash your hands as you come in and again as you leave.

3. No personal items in the gym except for a water bottle or any necessary pieces of equipment.
PLEASE do not come to the class if you are sick or don’t feel well.

4. If you’ve been exposed to COVID-19 please let us know.

Feel free to reach out if you have questions about any of these new guidelines. It’s an adjustment for all of us, but we know we can all work together to make our class a safe and fun again.

Finally, thank you for your patients and understanding as we navigate through this unprecendent time.

We can’t wait to see you!

We are going to be starting classes again tomorrow!!

We will be social distancing in our classes. This means that the classes will be smaller and shorter. Classes will be 40 minutes so we encourage students to warm up at home before they come to class.

Martial arts is hands on. HOWEVER, we will be minimizing how much hands-on we will be doing. We will be doing more basics and forms with the students.

We will be making a sign up sheet for classes. Please only choose one time slot for your students and come to that class. Students that do not show up for their class will not be able to come to another class time if it is filled.

If you have any questions, please let us know.

Mark your calendars!! Monday, June 8th we are going to be opening the school again!!

We were planning on tomorrow to open the school, but due to what is going on in Madison right now, we want everyone to stay home and be safe.

Dear Valued families and students,

We are very excited to be reopening! We said that we will reopen on May 27th, but due to the increase in COVID-19 cases in Wisconsin (and in Dane County), we are tentatively planning to reopen on June 1st. This is for the safety of the instructor, parents and students. The past few months, COVID has taught us what we all in this together to keep one another healthy. We will be adding some policies to ensure that we keep everyone healthy and allowed to come to class:

1. Students experiencing any symptoms are required to stay home for 2 weeks. Siblings in class will have to stay home during those 2 weeks as well.

Symptoms include: cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell

2. Students must not have a fever of 100.4. If students have fevers, we will be calling parents to pick up their students immediately.

3. We will allow 1 parent to come in for pick up and drop off.

4. Students are allowed to stay for 1 class on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. In the past, we have allowed students to stay for both classes. This will allow other students to take classes.

5. We will only be allowing 15 students in each class at a time.

6. Students, we are going to practice more hand hygiene. This means we will be washing our hands upon entering the studio and exiting the studio at any point the student has to leave the studio.

7. New students interested in classes? We will not be allowing people to just drop in to see classes. New students and families will need to have an appointment scheduled to make sure that we have enough space.

We want everyone to stay safe even after the safer at home order expires. If you or your students are uncomfortable coming to class after the safer at home expires, that is okay! When you feel comfortable to come in, we will be excited to see you!

We hope to see everyone soon. We miss each and every one of our students.

Dear Valued students and parents,

We were very excited for reopening our doors on April 27, 2020. BUT due to the Gov. Evers extending the "Safer at Home" order, we will not be able to reopen on April 27th as planned.

As of now, we will be eagerly waiting for May 27, 2020 to reopen and start teaching again! We miss everyone and hope to see you all soon!

03/26/2020

Dear Valued Students and Parents,

Due to COVID-19 spreading very quickly throughout our community, our Governor has implemented a Safer-At-Home ordered until April 24th.

This means, we will NOT be restarting classes on April 6th as originally planned. We will restart classes on Monday, April 27th. Parents, if you receive an email stating that your student has been missing classes, please ignore it. We will be turning off that automated email during this time.

If you have any questions, please contact us if you have any questions on our Facebook post, text or email.

Sincerely,

Kim White Tiger instructors and staff

Dear Valued Students and Parents,

Because of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we regrettably have to inform you that we will be closing the School for 3 weeks. We will reopen on Monday, April 6th, 2020.

This is to ensure that we are all staying healthy for your students and for your students to be healthy to learn. We will also be speaking with the owner of Dance Easy, where we are currently holding our classes, about how the studio is going to be cleaned and disinfected during this break.

We wish everyone a fun, safe and healthy Spring Break. Students, keep practicing at home ~ not on your family or friends!

Sincerely,

Kim White Tiger instructors and staff

As you have seen in the news, a few cases of Coronavirus are in Wisconsin. With that being said, we will be having classes. For everyone to be healthy and having fun in classes with no worries about Coronavirus, we strongly urge students that have cold like symptoms to STAY HOME.

What are cold symptoms?

- Fever
- Cough
- Shortness of breath
- Sore throat

How can we all work together to stay healthy?

- WASH YOUR HANDS
- Sneeze or cough in your elbow.
- Stay home if you are sick

What will we do if a student comes to class with any symptoms above?

In martial arts, we do a lot of kicking, punching, blocking drills with the students. It is very hands on. If a student comes in with any of the symptoms mentioned above, parents will be called to take their student home. For students to attend class, they need to be fever free with no medications for 24 hours.
