Two Wisconsin men are paddling the full length of the Mississippi River, chasing a bucket list adventure that’s been decades in the making.

📚 Throwback to 1975 📚

Did you know Middleton Christian School (now High Point Christian School) opened its doors in 1975 with just 18 students and a small but passionate team of educators and families committed to Christ-centered learning?

Tom Carter, our very first administrator, spent months researching curriculum and policies before welcoming our founding students. That first year, students were picked up in a van each morning, and typing assignments were done by hand—with no chalkboards in the classrooms yet!

We can’t wait to share a memory from the past each week this summer as we celebrate 50 years of God’s faithfulness in Christian education. 🙌

On Friday, we had the joy of celebrating our HPCS 8th Grade Graduation! 🎓

For many of these students, some of whom have been part of the High Point community since preschool or kindergarten, this milestone marked more than just the end of middle school. It was a meaningful launch into the next chapter of their academic journey.

We were honored to recognize this bright and talented group and all they’ve accomplished. A special thank you to Mrs. Priske, our incredible teachers and staff, Mr. Wagner (our keynote speaker and an 8th-grade dad), and the many parents and families who have faithfully supported and shepherded these students along the way.

We are so proud of the Class of 2025! As Mr. Wagner reminded them: “You’re going to be a light!” 💙🦅
