A foundational pillar of the Badger community, Cynthia “Cindy” Ihlenfeld (BBA ’75) has been named as the 2026 recipient of the Distinguished Business Alumni Award.

In addition to building a successful career in the corporate world, Ihlenfeld has served the UW–Madison community in countless ways. She's created new professorships across campus, played a key role in the creation of WSB's Venture Fund, served as the WSB co-chair of the All Ways Forward campaign—and so much more.
