High school students from across the Midwest participated in WSB Precollege Programs’ “Her View, Her Voice: Exploring Business” at Union South. This workshop empowered participants to explore the unique perspectives, strengths, and leadership skills that women bring to the business world through engaging conversations with panelists Dr. Aziza Jones, Dr. Joanna Wangerin, and Wisconsin School of Business alumna Monica Murphy.
Students engaged in a career pathways exploration led by Career Program Manager Shawn Johnson, where they gained valuable insight on how understanding personal strengths can help pave their future careers. They also learned about the importance of community, leadership, and professional development opportunities through involvement in organizations such as Women in Finance & Accounting, Women Impacting Supply Chain Excellence, Women in Business Technology, Women in Real Estate, and Women in Business.
