Ms. Robbins, a health room assistant at Madison Consolidated High School, is raising funds through DonorsChoose to keep the school health room stocked with snacks and water for students who need a little extra fuel to make it through the day.

💛 Sometimes, getting ready to learn starts with getting calm.

Mrs. DeLucio at Rykers Ridge Elementary is raising funds through DonorsChoose to provide sensory tools that help young students regulate their emotions, manage sensory needs, and feel safe and ready to participate in the school day.

Items like weighted lap pads, noise-reducing headphones, sensory mats, fidgets, and calming visual tools can give students healthy ways to cope when the classroom or their emotions become overwhelming. With the right support, students can reset, refocus, and return to learning with greater confidence and independence.
