If none of us is prepared to die for freedom, then all of us will die under tyranny.

In the absence of a viable third party in the U.S. I believe we must build grassroots coalitions across the U.S. to a) implement Direct Action in the streets and in the workplaces utilizing Gene sharp's 198 Methods of Nonviolent Action (look it up on the Web), b) build local Cooperative Survival Economies to survive both Trump austerity fascism and ecological collapse, and c) strategically vote for progressive candidates where possible but not waste most of our energies in electoral activity.

Hi Everyone,

I have been a radical left activist since age 18 as a freshman in the Vietnam antiwar upsurge at UW-Madison (e.g. see the documentary film "The War at Home"). I have organized and protested against the American corporate-military state my entire adult life. At age 75 I am now beset by a typical array of old-age health problems which have limited my political activism in the past year and a half including with the Peregrine Forum. Now the twilight of life and imminent mortality seems to be on a weirdly convergent course with the onslaught of fully-matured American fascism and the pending collapse of globalized capitalism and indeed of all organized society in a planetary ecological apocalypse. For what it may be worth I hope that Peregrine Forum may once again be an online digital venue with occasional physical public activities in the Madison area. Please feel free to join me with your thoughts, feelings. solidarity and suggestions for joint activity in the time which remains to us. If you would like to talk my phone number is 608-284-9082. PRESENTE!
