This Pride Month, WCSS recognizes the importance of ensuring that all students see themselves reflected in the stories we teach and the communities we build. Social studies helps students understand diverse experiences, foster empathy, and strengthen our democracy. We celebrate the contributions, history, and voices of LGBTQ+ individuals and communities throughout Wisconsin, our nation, and the world. Happy Pride Month!
