Congrats to Girls on the Run for another incredible season!

Last week our girls got the royal treatment at Black Girl Magic.

Such an empowering day for students and staff. Thank you Black Girl Magic Educational Services Inc. for loving up on our girls and showing them their worth! 👑

It’s a favorite tradition every year. Thank you to Atwood Barbershop for helping our students look and feel confident (some staff too!)

One of our goals as a Community School is to connect students with meaningful enrichment opportunities beyond the school day. 💃🕺

This season, our Dance Club did exactly that.

From learning new skills and building confidence to creating friendships and expressing themselves through movement, our dancers spent months working hard and having fun together. We loved seeing them take the stage at their end-of-season showcase and proudly show off everything they learned.

A huge thank you to our community partners, families, and staff who help make opportunities like this possible. When schools and communities work together, amazing things happen for kids. ❤️

3rd Grade Peter Pan was a highlight of the year! ✨

Our 3rd graders absolutely shined during their performance of Peter Pan. From the acting and costumes to the set design and confidence on stage, every student played an important role in bringing the story to life.

One of the best parts was hearing from families and students afterward about how impressed they were with the entire production. The hard work, teamwork, and dedication that went into preparing for this performance were on full display, and our Cougars rose to the occasion.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this experience possible. What a memorable way for our students to showcase their talents and let learning happen! 💙🐾

Huge shoutout to 7 Brew Coffee for absolutely coming through for our staff today ☕️💙

Every single staff member got their own drink, and let’s just say the energy in the building instantly improved. Between the colorful refreshers, iced coffees, and surprise treats, our team felt very appreciated today.

They’re opening their first Madison location this summer on the east side off Lien Road — and fun fact: it’s also their first multi-story location ever. Excited to welcome another business investing in our community and supporting local schools along the way.

Safe to say Kennedy staff already has some favorites picked out 👀

First year of Book Ambassadors was one for the books 📚🐾

Watching students take ownership, show leadership, and get genuinely excited about books was such a highlight this year. So proud of these Cougars for helping “let learning happen” in such a meaningful way. 💙💛

One of the best parts of Kennedy is the people. We work hard together during the school day, but we also genuinely enjoy spending time together outside the building too. Grateful for a staff culture built on connection, laughter, and community. 💙
