We were so lucky to have Jorene Leonard-Grabowski in rehearsals this week! The dancers have already begun learning repertory for our fall New Works show, “Inspirations”. Jorene staged and coached the dancers on a fast-paced, fun piece that they learned in just few rehearsals! The company dancers will return for rehearsals for the remainder of “Inspirations” choreography in August.

Now that our season has come to a close, we’re going to look back at some recent memories and memories from the beginning of the season. Starting with some recent memories:
Here are our 2025-2026 company dancers at RDA-Midstates in April with the wonderful faculty from Festival! Dancers loved working with them, learning new styles, and even came out with the feedback “I couldn’t stop smiling”!

Happy International Dance Day from Dance Wisconsin!
From connecting with our local community in productions, to meeting students in our Dance in the Schools programs, to dancing with companies from around the country at Regional Dance America, and so much more; we believe dance is for everyone!
Dance brings us together in a language that we all understand- the joy of moving! Celebrate today!

Another recap! This time we’re looking back at what our Day 3 was like! The dancers started with ballet, then some headed to tech rehearsal while others went to improv, everyone attended hip hop, and then we had a great Q&A with all the faculty!

So much happened when we were at RDA-Midstates, each day deserves its own recap! Day 2 included a full group picture of all the Midstates dancers, the Outstanding Soloist class for some of our dancers while the other dancers took Ballet with Jennifer, then we had a great PT seminar to learn about properly warming up our bodies, followed by a fan favorite from our dancers- West African, and ended classes with Contemporary!

RDA-Midstates kept us busy and learning last week! The dancers started off the Festival weekend with a scholarship class, jazz and pointe/variations! To end our day the dancers performed “brain rot” in the Thursday night show!
