Fluteabilities and Piano Too!

Congrats to all my Flute students for getting Superior ratings at this years Solo and Ensemble Festival!!!!

My flute friends!!! Please feel free to come out next Thursday for Madison City Community Orchestra Flute Choir at 6:30 pm. In the CLC on the south side of the building. Bring your flutes from Piccolos to to Contrabass and everything in between and we will have a great time learning, encouraging and helping each other in a fun atmosphere!!!! So the studio has change. It is smaller. One less cat Sofie is now a Plott Hound named Karmel. Karmel loves pets. Esme is still here and likes to yell at things!
And of course the Mafia boss is still in charge and rules over everything. I do not argue with any of them and it works out fine! Hank the CatFather is in Charge!

So much has happened so our hearts shattered over the lose of Sofie. She meant the world to use.
But just as we were healing our 18 year old Main Cat TuTu said it is my turn. And she spent the curled in my arms and the next morning the cancer stole her. Her life was one of the best a cat could have she has blessed and so were me! She left on her own terms.

Just wanted to make sure everyone was aware of the situation at the home studio.
Many of you have graduated but still know and love our furry family.
Yesterday, Sofie passed away after a hard fought fight against a horrific opponent (we believe was aggressive cancer). She held on till we could all be there to surround her and say good bye. She was an old girl and lived a life filled with happiness, love and classical, jazz, modern
Music. She tested the ability of piano playing when thunderstorms were rumbling by placing herself on the pedals.
You will be missed Sofie!!!

As promised, the live "Practice the Piccolo" continues!

🕓 When? Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
📍 Where? On the International Piccolo Festival page.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, some international acclaimed piccoloists will conduct the live streaming.
Nicola Mazzanti will be in Live Straming every Saturday.

This week the "Practice the Piccolo" will begin on Thursday 26th at 04pm CET (11am EST, 11pm China Standard Time) with Peter Verhoyen!

In this time of COVID-19, so dramatic and so strange, many of us are locked in the house. We want to create a flute community where the people want to improve their piccolo technique. These live videos are for you!

Solo and Ensemble has been cancelled for this year due to CoVid-19. Please continue working on your solos. We will work on them during on line lessons. I will contact you to set up lesson times in the next few days for my current students.
