Thank You, Madison Lions Club! 🦁

Morgan County Charter Schools is incredibly grateful to the Madison Lions Club for their generous $8,500 donation supporting students and programs across our schools!

Made possible through the success of the Lions Club Fall Fair, this gift will make a meaningful difference for our students. Funds will support student needs and activities at MCPS, MCES and MCMS, the One Morgan Band at MCHS, and senior scholarships for graduating students pursuing agricultural, vocational, and military pathways.

For 70 years, the Madison Lions Club has been making a difference in our community, and we are thankful for their continued partnership and investment in our students.

🏆❤️ Happy National Coaches Day!

It’s more than a game. More than a score. More than wins and losses.

Coaches have the opportunity to shape lives—not just athletes. They teach our students how to work hard, trust the process, overcome adversity, support their teammates, and believe in themselves.

They are there for the big wins, the tough losses, the early mornings, the long practices, and all the moments in between.

And often, the lessons they teach off the field and court are the ones our kids carry with them for a lifetime.

To every coach who shows up, pours in, encourages, challenges, and believes in our students—thank you. Your impact reaches far beyond the game. ❤️

🎸❤️ PRE-K ROCKS! ❤️🎸

Georgia Pre-K Week is October 5–9, but since our Morgan County students are enjoying fall break this week, we celebrated a little early last week!

Our Georgia Pre-K students at Morgan County Primary School rocked their way through a week full of learning, fun, and special memories! Pre-K classrooms welcomed guest readers, invited families to join us for Learning with My Grown-Up Day, explored literacy with the Literacy Bus, visited our local library and ended the week with a Pre-K Rocks Celebration.

Early learning matters. Georgia Pre-K helps children develop the academic, social, and emotional skills they need to enter kindergarten ready to learn, grow, and succeed.

We are thankful for our wonderful Pre-K teachers, families, and community partners who help give our youngest Bulldogs a strong start.

A Day at UGA!

Twenty of our top MCMS 8th graders spent an exciting day at the University of Georgia through the Compass Middle School Outreach Program!

Students learned about college admissions and scholarships, toured campus, and experienced a taste of college life with lunch in a UGA dining hall.

Who knows…we may have a few future Dawgs in the group! ❤️🖤

We’re proud to give our students opportunities to explore their possibilities and see that their future can be whatever they dream it to be!

🌱Hands-On Learning in Agriculture🌱

Yesterday, our first SAE Expo of the school year was a huge success!

Middle school students in Ms. Hartlety’s Agriculture class had the opportunity to showcase the work they completed through their Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAEs) over the past several weeks. Students shared their creative projects and demonstrated the agricultural knowledge and skills they developed throughout the semester.

From fishing and deer hunting to making dog treats, cutting grass, growing flowers, caring for pets, raising cattle or chickens, and even making pickles, every project was different and unique!

Through their SAEs, students gained hands-on experience while developing valuable skills in organization, time management, record keeping, responsibility, and problem-solving.

It was exciting to see our students turn their interests into meaningful learning experiences!
