Lighthouse Christian School Madison

Lighthouse staff and students were overjoyed to partner with the The African American Council of Churches Madison, WI at the 37th Annual Juneteenth Celebration hosted by Kujichagulia-Madison Center for Self Determination! Our Gospel choir joined voices with a city-wide youth choir and ministered powerfully!

We are grateful for organizations like First Tee South Central Wisconsin, who help enrich the education of our students!

First Tee partnered with us on May 19th and May 26th to lead PE classes and celebrate our student council. Our students had a tee-rific time!

Alumni Spotlight | Eva Akpandja ’22 is a State Champion!

Now a junior at Edgewood High School, Eva won the WIAA Division 2 Girls Shot Put State Championship on her final throw, where she launched an 8.8-pound metal shot 45 feet, 8.5 inches. Translation: she’s strong, y’all 💪🏾
That’s the length of a school bus!

Lighthouse Christian School joins the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County and the greater Madison community in mourning the passing of Michael Johnson.

Michael was a respected leader whose dedication to strengthening our community will have a lasting impact. We are grateful for the ways he supported and encouraged organizations working to help children and families thrive, including Lighthouse.

We extend our deepest condolences and prayers to his family, friends, colleagues, and all who are grieving this loss; we honor the legacy of service and leadership he leaves behind.

On May 28th, we celebrated the graduation of our largest 8th grade class to date! Congratulations to the Class of 2026. We are so proud of all you have accomplished and excited to see where God leads you next!

May 26, 2026 | Fathers and father-figures joined us for Donuts with Dad!

As sweet as the donuts were, the sweetest moment was watching students lay hands on their dads and pray blessings over them.
