Welcome to Your Tribe, Kindergarteners!

One of the highlights of our first week of school was officially welcoming our kindergarteners and new students into their Lighthouse Tribes!

The whole school came together to celebrate as students joined their Tribes and our staff Tribe Leaders were announced for the year!

Throughout the school year, our 8th graders help lead their Tribes in activities, challenges, and friendly competitions, bringing students across grade levels together to build friendships, leadership, teamwork, and a strong sense of belonging.

Our first Tribe activity was introductions with popsicles outside together! From kindergarten through 8th grade, every student has a place, a team, and a Tribe to call their own.

We couldn’t start the year without celebrating our AMAZING teachers!

Our Principal Pastor Tia rolled through the school on her skates delivering ice cream to our teachers as a little reminder of just how loved and appreciated they are.

Our teachers pour so much into our students every single day, and we want our kids to see that caring for and celebrating the people around us is part of what makes Lighthouse such a special community.

Here’s to a wonderful year ahead!
