Tomorrow evening from 4:30-6:30pm, join the UW-Madison Department of Horticulture at Allen Centennial Garden for the Horticulture Showcase! Experience a taste of the work being done on campus and hear from UW-Madison Chancellor Rebecca Blank!
Members of the CALS community – and the general public – are invited to join the UW-Madison Department of Horticulture at two upcoming Horticulture Showcase events. The events are set for Thursday, Aug. 18 and Thursday, Sept. 15. Both will be held at Allen Centennial Garden starting at 4:30 p.m. The events will highlight some of the ongoing activities within the department and demonstrate the relevance of horticulture in people’s lives through demonstrations, exhibits and presentations.
The Aug. 18 event will focus on ornamental horticulture and home gardening. The Sept. 15 event will feature plant breeding, cultivar trials and local foods. Chancellor Rebecca Blank is scheduled to give an address during the Sept. 15 event.
