The Wisconsin Nonprofit Summit 2026 is almost here, and we are excited to share that we have lined up an incredible group of speakers, panelists, and community leaders from across Wisconsin and beyond.

Our “Speakers at a Glance” schedule gives you a preview of the day’s sessions, conversations, and networking opportunities.

This year’s summit will focus on what it takes to rebuild trust, strengthen relationships, and create real solutions through coalition building and shared leadership. Whether you are an executive director, fundraiser, program staff member, consultant, or community partner, this conference is designed to leave you encouraged, equipped, and connected.

This month, we celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and reaffirm our commitment to creating welcoming, inclusive spaces where every learner feels respected, supported, and valued. At Wisconsin Literacy, we believe literacy opens doors and strengthens communities, and that everyone deserves the opportunity to learn and thrive as their full selves.

Looking for podcasts that center adult education?

We put together a few recommendations for adult educators, tutors, learners, and advocates who want to hear more conversations about adult learning, literacy, workforce education, policy, and practice.

These podcasts offer insight, inspiration, and new perspectives from across the adult education field.

Our office will be closed on Memorial Day as we honor and remember those who have served. We will reopen during regular business hours Tuesday.

A heartfelt thank-you to COABE for connecting us with Human-I-T and the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin to partner in providing laptops and digital skills training to adults and families across Wisconsin. To date, more than 2,200 laptops have been distributed with the help of our member agencies. Collective action allows up to amplify our impact. We are grateful for the combined efforts by everyone involved!

Wisconsin Literacy is proud to spotlight our Executive Director, Jake Gorges, who serves as chair of the Governor’s Council on Workforce Investment’s Workforce Committee.
This role places Wisconsin Literacy at the table for important statewide discussions workforce policy, job quality, and WIOA funding. Jake's Committee leadership helps ensure that adult literacy remains a vital solution for Wisconsin’s workers, employers, and communities. It also amplifies our member agency voices and student success stories.

Every story shared, every page turned, and every bedtime book helps build a child’s vocabulary, confidence, and love of learning.

Reading together, even for a few minutes a day, can make a lasting difference.
