The School Psychology Training Clinic (SPTC) at UW Madison is once again offering their Anxiety Skills for Kids group this summer.
"Think Better, Feel Better: Anxiety Skills for Kids" is a 4 week, 8 session evidence-based anxiety intervention program for children entering grades 2-4 and 5-8. School Psychology graduate students will lead participants in sessions focused on recognizing signs of anxiety in themselves and building coping strategies to manage stress and worry.
Groups will take place on Tues/Thurs from 4-5pm. Registration closes on 5/1. Please see the attached fliers to register or reach out to [email protected]

We are thrilled to collaborate with our school psychology friends at the University of Minnesota for a joint social during the NASP Convention! We will be gathering at Miller’s Pub at 134 S. Wabash Ave. in Chicago from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 25. We look forward to seeing alumni, faculty, students, and other friends of the program!

Enrolled children will divided by grade and will work with doctoral candidates in the school psych program. Congratulations to Ellen Anderson! A School Psychology PhD student, Ellen recently received a National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) Graduate Student Research Grant. Up to three $1,000 awards are made each year to students who demonstrate exceptional ability to conduct high-quality research that furthers the mission and goals of NASP and has the potential to positively impact the field.
