When we asked Mrs. Engelhardt to think up some ideas for a new mural, we were not expecting this masterpiece. ⭐Holy WOW!!⭐

Thank you, Katrina, for your sharing your incredible talents with the entire Madison community. Students, teachers, parents, and community members will enjoy your efforts for years to come. You have really outdone yourself.

Finally, our August Staff Spotlights wouldn’t be complete without introducing Ashley Woron!

Ashley is joining Neck River as a Special Education teacher and will be serving as our PAL teacher this year. She is looking forward to building new relationships, getting to know her students, and making a positive mark on our school community. She’s also no stranger to a challenge. Ashley has completed a full marathon and hopes to run another one someday!

Outside of school, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family, working out, reading, and finding a little time for self-care. Ashley's favorite children's book is Goodnight Moon.

We’re so excited to have Ashley joining us this year and look forward to all she’ll bring to our Neck River community!

Rounding out our August Staff Spotlight series, we're excited to welcome back Chase Walker as our new Physical Education teacher!

Chase joined the Neck River team last year as a long-term substitute in our PE department and quickly became a fan favorite among our students. We're thrilled he'll be returning this year! Chase will be splitting his time between Neck River and Polson Middle School, and we're so glad our students will continue to benefit from his enthusiasm and positive energy.

Chase is most excited to see all of his students again this year! When he's not at school, he enjoys hiking. A fun fact about Chase is that he's the youngest of five boys! His favorite children's book is The Giving Tree.

Welcome back, Chase! We're looking forward to another great year with you as part of the Neck River team.

Next up in our August Staff Spotlight series, we’re excited to welcome Stacey Parente as our new Fifth Grade Teacher!

Although Stacey has been teaching in our district for many years, this marks her first year at Neck River. We are excited to welcome her to our school community and know she will be a wonderful addition to our fifth-grade team.
Stacey is most excited to work alongside our incredible staff and meet her new fifth graders! Outside of school, she enjoys exercising on her Peloton bike. A fun fact about Stacey is that she once high-fived Taylor Swift while she was walking by in Watch Hill, Rhode Island! Her favorite children's book is Holes by Louis Sachar.
