RICE DISTRIBUTION - Milwaukee - December 21

Hello friend and family,

The Hmong Institute will be giving out rice to Hmong and SEA elders and families facing financial challenges next Wednesday, December 21, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please let individuals needing this support know and they must register prior to picking it up on Wednesday. LEARNING LIFE SKILL

At HLCEP, students learn life skills as well - daily cleaning after lunch is a require for our older students. As basic as learning how to hold a broom to washing dishes.

Week 1: Family and Clan

Students are learning about their family and clan system. Identifying who is pog, yawg, tais tais, yawm txiv, phauj, yij laug, etc. helps students understand their Hmong family structure. Old students are learning about clan system. Love these family trees! - mai zong

Dear parents, we are now accepting student enrollment applications for the Hmong Language and Culture Enrichment Program for this coming summer, 2022.

We are only taking 30 students due to COVID precaution. Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. Once we are full, we will close the registration.
