Directed by assistant professor of social work Dr. Lauren Bishop-Fitzpatrick, the goal of the AHEADD Team is to characterize disparities in and improve health and wellbeing in partnership with adults with autism and other developmental disabilities, and to develop intervention and prevention strategies that will help adults with autism and other developmental disabilities live long, healthy, and self-determined lives in their communities.
