Last week members of the Teacher's Assistant Association attended a meeting with University Officials calling the university to support graduate workers and international students at the University. This meeting ended after Dean Karpus pushed a graduate student attempting to enter the room and the administrators left the room while the students attempted to tell their stories. The administrators then called the police, who removed the students from the building. TAA has created the linked petition in response to these actions by the university.
