Edgewood College Child Life Association The CLA is a student run organization devoted to undergrad and grad child life students at Edgewood. What is Child Life?

Child Life programs are found in hospitals and clinics but may be found in alternative settings. With the aid of developmentally appropriate teaching tools and play, Child Life prepares children, youth and families for life altering events and upcoming procedures. Child Life also promotes coping through various interventions to help children, youth and families with stressful events. As an Associa

tion we provide opportunities for Child Life students to partake in activities related to the field and events throughout the community. Our goal is to make the Edgewood College community aware of Child Life, the benefits that they provide for children, and provide networking opportunities for students.
