Attorneys from Michael Best will present an overview of the pathway from international student status to business owner, answering commonly asked student questions about forming a business. The session will also cover work authorization options for entrepreneurs, including opportunities and restrictions in the F-1, J-1, and H-1B visa categories.

Join ISS Advisors for a Program Completion "Ask Me Anything" session, where you get answers to YOUR questions about all your F-1 and J-1 post-graduation options and visa implications. International Student Services at UW-Madison is implementing use of a newer version of Terra Dotta, known as Next Gen, starting Monday, May 18, 2026. All requests, records, documents, and communications in current Terra Dotta profiles will be transferred to the new site. The UW-Madison Terra Dotta web address, terradotta.wisc.edu, will stay the same after the implantation date.
