Happy end of the semester AFA! Here’s a quick recap of all the amazing events and opportunities we have participated in this spring. We are so grateful to everyone who joined us and we look forward to seeing you all in the fall💜

Thank you to everyone that joined us Saturday for flowers and bingo at Capitol Lakes! We had so much fun playing bingo and delivering flowers to the residents!! 💐😊

Happy Sunday AFA! Our final general meeting is this Thursday, 4/23 where we are excited to be hearing from Bonnie Nutkinson. As always, the meeting will be from 5:30-6:30pm. Note we are meeting in Union South again, this time in Alumni Room on the 2nd floor!

We had the amazing opportunity of presenting a poster for our club at the ADRC’s Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias Research Day. We also attended presentations from various researchers and physicians on their latest work advancing Alzheimer’s and dementia research at UW-Madison. The event was incredibly informative, inspiring, and we are grateful to be a part of a community working toward better care, resources, and outcomes. We’re excited to see future progress on these research studies! 🔬🧠

Hi AFA! Big news! This potluck is going to be our last social and end of semester celebration, coming up Friday 4/24. Hi AFA! We have an upcoming volunteering event Saturday 4/18! We will be heading to Capitol lakes to play bingo with the residents from 2:00 to 3:00pm. Feel free to meet us at the Kohl Center at 1:30pm or simply meet us at Capitol Lakes. We can’t wait to see everyone!
