Joyful Noise's annual Halloween Party went off without a hitch! We had such a great time! Thanks to all of my families for spending thier Friday night socializing while thier Noise Maker's made a few extra memories. Happy Halloween!

Happiness, joy, pride and admiration as a daycare provider is when one of your 17 month old Noise Makers decides they want to be potty trained! Way to go kiddo! Way to go! I'm so proud of you!

Had my annual licensing visit today. 11+ years and 0 violations. I am happy, proud, and humbled. I have chosen the right profession as I'm clearly doing it right. 🩷

Just pulled the lid off of the steamed broccoli for lunch and one of my 3 year old Noise Makers immediately says "Wow! Look at all of that steam! That used to be water, right Ms. Karla? And now the molecules are moving super fast and the water turned to steam?"

I just about fell over. I ran over and gave him a great big hug and thanked him for listening. Our curriculum last month was all about water and we did spend a day talking about the different states of water. The other kiddos started chiming in talking about what molecules look like when water is in the ice state or when it's about to rain. I was beaming. The love I have for my Noise Makers and my job, I'd like to think is evident by the amount of effort I put into it each day. The amount of respect shown to me by my kiddos today by how much they listen and engage speaks volumes and makes everything I do worthwhile. My heart is full. ❤️

What a busy morning! Did you know Costco stopped selling their big 6 pack muffins? Me neither! No worries! The Noise Makers and I decided to make "Muffins with Mom" extra special this year by whipping up our breakfast cupcakes...I mean Muffins, ourselves! This year the kiddos chose Chocolate chip banana bread, Cinnamon Streusal Cake and Blueberry Crumble Muffins. Whew! They were sure to test all the batters to ensure nothing was poisonous 😉 We can't wait to celebrate our Mom's tomorrow! Happy Mother's Day from Joyful Noise! 🩷
