Joyful Noise Childcare Loving in-home childcare. Joyfully shaping "noise makers" since 2014! Hours of operation are 7:30AM to 5:15PM to accommodate your needs!

Just 1 and a half minutes off the West Beltline Highway, we are conveniently located in the beautiful Westmorland Park Neighborhood. This means we are only 4 minutes to Hilldale, 5 minutes from UW and VA hospitals and 6-8 minutes (depending on traffic) from UW campuses! We are smoke-free but do have three friendly family dogs and one friendly family cat. However, the dogs and cat will not be out d

uring daycare hours. Joyful Noise offers a learn as you grow curriculum. Meaning, we focus on age appropriate educational material to help your child be successful at all stages. Besides daily learning and play activities, we also enjoy weekly or bi-weekly trips to the library which is only 1.5 blocks away and outings to our local park, also only 1.5 blocks away. Daily activities you can expect to find at Joyful Noise:
- Month, Date, and Day of the Week Review
- Letter of the Week Review
- Season and Holiday Exploration
- Weekly craft projects
- Story and Circle time
- Outdoor Exploration and Play (weather permitting)

Just pulled the lid off of the steamed broccoli for lunch and one of my 3 year old Noise Makers immediately says "Wow! Look at all of that steam! That used to be water, right Ms. Karla? And now the molecules are moving super fast and the water turned to steam?"

I just about fell over. I ran over and gave him a great big hug and thanked him for listening. Our curriculum last month was all about water and we did spend a day talking about the different states of water. The other kiddos started chiming in talking about what molecules look like when water is in the ice state or when it's about to rain. I was beaming. The love I have for my Noise Makers and my job, I'd like to think is evident by the amount of effort I put into it each day. The amount of respect shown to me by my kiddos today by how much they listen and engage speaks volumes and makes everything I do worthwhile. My heart is full. ❤️
