My name is Jonathan Slater and I’m a music teacher Madison, Al and Huntsville, Al area. Please feel free to read through my lesson info below, and visit the rest of the site. My Lessons Offer You:

Over 15 years of playing & 10 years teaching Experience

Choice of guitar lessons, bass guitar lessons, mandolin lessons, banjo lessons, and ukulele lessons

Various styles can be studied - Roc

k, classical, pop, bluegrass, blues, etc. Necessary technique and theory is taught alongside and applied to student’s personal interests

A fun atmosphere with various opportunities to perform throughout the year

Professional facility and studio - My studio has soundproofing material and is built for private lessons

There is also a recital hall for performances on campus

Private 30 minute sessions or 60 minute sessions for the serious student

One weekly lesson at a regularly scheduled time every week

I have begun my own teaching business again: Jonathan Slater - Stringed Instrument Instructor and am no longer with Musicology School of Music. I teach guitar, banjo, bass, mandolin, and ukulele. Everyone! Its a new year and what a great resolution for you or your child to learn a musical instrument. Sunday, January 15th I will be offering FREE 30 minute trial lessons at Musicology School of Music from 9-3. You can choose between guitar, banjo, bass, mandolin, or ukulele lessons.
ALSO, those who attend, and any current students who refers someone to these lessons will be entered into a drawing for a MONTH of FREE lessons! And if you sign up THAT day I will pay for half of your second month of lessons!
Lessons are 30 minutes, once a week, and $96 per month for single lessons and $89 per month for families with more than one lesson.
