Kids Junction is celebrating all it's teachers: staff, mothers, and children alike!
The teacher in each of us recognizes the learner in another. We are all both students and teachers, continually shaped by God and by one another.
We are deeply grateful for the love, gifts, and encouragement shown to our professional educators this week — our teachers truly felt appreciated. 💞
May we always honor the love that God has for every person and continue creating spaces where children feel valued, inspired, and empowered to grow into who they are meant to be. This is important, meaningful work. Thank you teachers!

Summer Adventure Camp Senior 2026 is now open for registration!
Many young tweens and teens are glued to their phones scrolling social media. As a parent you wonder what will get them to look up and enjoy the moment. You long for them to make memories outside of Snapchat and Instagram. Our Summer Adventure Camp Senior (SAC Sr) is a great opportunity for your child to experience the wonder of the outdoors and the joy of new friendships. They will have such an explosion of fun enjoying the moment that they can't help but set down the phone. They'll be bursting to tell you all about the amazing memories they're making at the end of each day.
A week at camp looks something like this:
Monday – Travel to state parks for outdoor education, sports activities and/or crafts.
Tuesday – All-day field trip excursion.
Wednesday – Travel to our day camp site at Camp Carlson for team building, outdoor and survival skills, archery, advanced art projects, workshops, large group games, and a trip to Culver’s.
Thursday – All-day field trip excursion.
Friday – Travel to local parks followed by swimming at public pools.

Kids Junction will be closed Monday, January 19th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. A time to honor the power of education, dignity, and opportunity for every child.
In our classrooms, we intentionally design our days to support long-term school success. Mornings begin with drop-off and breakfast together, followed by responsive infant care and meaningful play. By 10am, children are moving—babies out for stroller walks, children 2+ in the gym or on one of our three playgrounds. Preschoolers engage in thoughtfully planned, play-led curriculum that builds early literacy, math, self-regulation, and social skills—foundations proven to support positive outcomes throughout a child’s entire school career. The day continues with chef-prepared lunch, restorative rest, afternoon snack, and more hands-on learning and exploration.
As Dr. King reminded us, education shapes the future we dream of. We are proud to do this work each day, nurturing confident learners who know their worth and feel belonging.

Winter break gave us time to rest, reconnect, and make sweet memories. Today, on the Feast of Epiphany, we remember the journey of the Three Kings—and the moment of recognition at its end: the understanding that God’s love was revealed not for some, but for all. In early childhood, we witness echoes of Epiphany every day—in the quiet ‘aha’ moments when understanding dawns, confidence takes hold, and a child begins to see what is possible. We’re grateful to walk this season of learning and becoming alongside our families.

Every year, the holidays offer us a tender lesson: togetherness is a gift.
We do not have endless Christmases. Each one is special. Precious is our time with each other.
Kids Junction will be closed December 24th, 25th, and 26th, giving our staff and families the grace of time at home—to cherish one another, to rest, and to treasure time spent with loved ones.
May this season renew a hopeful spirit within us all—one that finds joy in small moments, chooses kindness, and gives freely of the heart. Even when life would have us grow weary or hardened, a hopeful spirit is something we choose to carry and share. When we give care and hope to each other, we make Christmas truly generous. -All the glory be to God!
From our Kids Junction family to yours,
God bless a hopeful spirit, God bless a giving heart, and God bless us, every one.
