Our Lady Queen of Peace School

Well done and congratulations to the QP Girls on the Run team who kicked off summer by running their celebratory end of season 5K on May 30th. These 3rd and 4th grade students not only worked hard and played hard all season, but also completed their community impact project in May, thanking our police officer neighbors at Midtown Police Station! Well done girls and thank you to all the volunteer coaches and parents who made this season possible at our school!

QP Field Day is the best!! Thank you to all who helped organize and volunteered this treasured event and thank you to QP's newest alumni who came back to run the games for students! Everyone had a blast on a beautiful day at Westmorland Park!

K4 students gave an excellent end of the year performance for their parents and fans. These kiddos are full of joy and talent and they are ready for kindergarten! (But first, summer!)

Students in 4th, 5th, and 7th grade loved celebrating the upcoming summer weddings of their teachers! Thank you so much to parents and class coordinators for organizing surprise showers and lovely gifts for these special teachers! Congratulations to Miss VanEss, Miss Hartung, and Miss Nannenhorn!

A beautiful milestone, celebrated in faith. For one last time, 8th graders sat together as the Queen of Peace class of 2026 in our church yesterday evening. Thank you to Fr. Brian, Fr. Jay, Monsignor Larry, and Deacon Mark for celebrating a lovely Graduation Mass with families and staff. Students were sent forth surrounded by prayer, community, and the love of the QP family.

Teachers and administrators honored our outstanding QP class of 2026 with a lovely 8th Grade Honors and Brunch this morning. Thank you to all of the volunteers for organizing such a special morning.

Congratulations to the QP class of 2026 who graduate today! Wishing you all the best as you enter the next chapter of your lives. We will miss you all on campus every day but know that you will make a powerful, positive impact on your future schools, your communities, and our world! May God Bless you all!! QP 8th graders showed their analytical thinking and creative design in producing some fantastic roller coasters! The creative teams erected skyscrapers, built Tangled themed towers, and launched riders out of an apocalyptic Earth. Roller coasters had vertical loops, horizontal curves, tunnels, and one even had two tracks for marbles to race. Students were persistent and resilient with their trial and error, tweaking tracks for hours to make sure the marbles completed the full run!
