HickoryHillAcademy

Kindergarten students showed their love for Pokémon this morning! ✨ They kicked off the day with a Pokémon-themed digraphs and blends activity using glitter pens.

They practiced reading and writing while sharing their interests and identifying consonant blends and digraphs they recognize - a great example of learning through purposeful play.

Just a few days away! 🎉 HHA families, join us for a fun play date at Little Playroom Café on May 6th from 6:00–7:30 PM! It’s the perfect chance to explore, play, and connect with other Highlander families in a relaxed, joyful space.

This free event is open to our Preschool, Pre-K, and Kindergarten families. Spots are limited to 100 guests, so we can keep things comfortable for everyone. We hope to see you there! 💛

Hi HHA Community!

This week is FULL of great things, and Friday is especially exciting! Join us for Tom’s Coffee Truck (7:30–9:00 AM—on us!) and our morning Engage gathering:

Engage – Friday, April 24 | 8:30–9:30 AM
LS/MS Conservatory (we’ll meet outside if the weather is nice!)
Tom’s Coffee Truck will be available during this time.

We’re also excited to kick off something new—our very first in-person HHA Swap & Shop! A few of our amazing HHA parents are leading the way on this initiative, creating a wonderful opportunity to give gently used uniforms and spirit wear a second life while helping fellow families stock up at an affordable price.

Item collection begins THIS Friday!
Drop off gently used uniforms or spirit wear at the table outside during coffee truck hours, or anytime at the front desk in a labeled bag (include your name + phone number). Items should be clean and in good condition without holes or stains; clothing with minor wear will likely be placed in a free bin.

We’ll use a simple store credit model: most items earn $5, and sweatshirts, fleece, and dresses earn $10. Items will be resold at the same prices. Please donate Lands’ End brand or Spirit Wear items only.

And don’t forget—our Benefit Night is this Saturday! It’s not too late to grab your tickets. We love our HHA community and can’t wait to celebrate together!
