What a great celebration of community and learning! Scholars showed off their hard work and then gathered outside to visit the garden, Madison and Monona library, MSCR Art Cart, and enjoy food and fun with friends! The Elvehjem community is the best.

The Disney Musical cast performed their 1st of 4 performances today. Please come support them during the evening community shows tonight 5/13) and tomorrow (5/14) at 6:30 The shows are at Elvehjem in the gym. They did an AMAZING job this morning! You don’t want to miss this opportunity.

We are celebrating Better World Day! All grades participated in some way to make our school and neighborhood communities better…4K delivering flowers to adults across the school, Kindergarten taking care of the woods nearby, 1st grade making bird baths, 2nd grade delivering seed packets, 3rd grade updated our story walk sharing information about caring for our earth, 4th grade showed appreciation for our neighbors and 5th grade made yard signs speaking positive messages for neighbors to put on their yard. What a great opportunity for our scholars to know that even young people can make a difference.
