Liberty Middle School did a great job on their Spring Concert last night! Thank you Marie Moreno Mulloy (Mrs. M&M) for always working so hard to bring out the best in your students! Thank you so much for your years of service and dedication to LMS! We are excited to see the great things you are going to do at Journey Middle School! We are thankful that we will still be working together to build our family of choirs! Best wishes on your venture from your entire JCHS Choir family!

On behalf of Mr. Harris Gessner and the JCHS Choir, we would like to welcome Mr. Stacy Daniels as the newly named Choir Director for Liberty Middle School. He will begin starting next year after Mrs. Alicia Mulloy goes to Journey Middle School. Both Liberty and Journey will be feeder schools to our programs at JCHS.

Mr. Daniels is a versatile singer, conductor and educator. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience working with younger voices. He received two Bachelor Degrees from the University of Montevallo, and a Master’s Degree from Florida State. He leads a community choral group for younger voices. He has served in many capacities in church music ministries in the Birmingham and Huntsville areas.

We are excited to work with Mr. Daniels, and also Mrs. Mulloy to build the future of JCHS Choirs. Please join us in welcoming Mr. Daniels to the JCHS Choir Family.

Joshua Wortham selected for ‘APT Young Heroes’ award - The Madison Record MADISON – Joshua Wortham can be described as a young ‘Renaissance Man’ with his successes in the fine arts, entrepreneurship, academics and diplomacy. Alabama Public Television or APTV took note of Wortham’s unique story and named him to “APT Young Heroes.”
