🎉 That's a wrap on Orientation Week 2026! 🎉

The first three days at St. Ambrose Academy were anything but ordinary! From welcoming new students and reconnecting with returning students to diving into academic skills, prayer, fellowship, and House spirit, our opening days were packed with opportunities to get oriented to the year ahead.

📋 Procedures, routines, and all the little details that help our school run smoothly
🥞 Bonus: a parent-led Senior breakfast where Seniors could chalk their parking spots for the year ahead
🤝 And plenty of time for our new students to acclimate to their new school home!

Most importantly, these first days gave our students the chance to learn, laugh, pray, compete, connect, and begin building the friendships and community that make St. Ambrose Academy special.

What a great way to begin a new school year! Enjoy the long Labor Day weekend, Guardians and we'll see you on Tuesday for the first day of classes!

Summer Workshop Coming Up This August! 🏛️🏺

Where else can students in grades 5–9 access researcher-grade expertise to unpack biblical history through hands-on archaeology, literature, and art? Your child will find out at our final St. Ambrose Academy summer workshop! Led by our resident Latin and history scholar — a premier expert in ancient Israel archaeology — this dynamic week will take students to awesome locations around Madison, equipping them with the wisdom and experience for future success.

In this special week-long 𝑩𝒊𝒃𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝑨𝒓𝒕 & 𝑻𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒏𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒚 𝒆𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 (August 10–14), 𝘿𝙧. 𝙂𝙚𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙧𝙚𝙮 𝙇𝙪𝙙𝙫𝙞𝙠 won't just be teaching Scripture — students will live it through the science of biblical archaeology!

From building their own mudbrick forts to reenacting Israelite soldier tactics, this class is a thrilling, hands-on opportunity to reconstruct the technologies and artistic techniques that defined daily life in the times of Scripture. If your child has ever wanted to step inside the realities behind sacred history, this is sure to be one of the most exciting things they do all summer!
