Great work from our OT students!
Today, our students celebrated their hard work and the completion of their first Fieldwork placement in Adult Disabilities.
Thank you to the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program for bringing PT, OT, and SLP together to make Dewane Neurorehabilitative Pro Bono Clinic. The clinic treats underserved or un(der)insured patients who need physical, occupational, and speech therapy interventions in neurological rehabilitation.
Each week, students take their growing knowledge to apply to clinical treatment sessions with real clients, right here in our classrooms.
It is an honor to touch the hearts of those in need alongside our neighboring disciplines. From 1 client and 4 PT students in 2012, to our many students and faculty having a lasting impact on our Madison community today. 👏Congratulations to this team of future clinicians!
