AAPS seeks to empower students and professionals alike through continued education which provide diverse perspectives in the field of pharmaceutical sciences through speaking events, meetings, master classes, debates, literature circles, professional forums, social engagements, professional development, training, roundtable discussions, and other events. The purpose of these events with respect to

the UW-Madison student chapter is to expand our knowledge base and perspective about pharmaceutical sciences to prepare students who will be successful professionals in the field.

The date options are Friday, February 25th or Friday, March 4th. We will carpool from SoP after Drug Discovery Seminar (4:20 PM). You are welcome to bring your friends and family!

AAPS is organizing a (virtual) roundtable luncheon with two senior recruiters from Covance (Shannon Droessler and Tricia Cullen) on September 23, from 1-2 pm. The luncheon will cover a plethora of questions including but not limited to:
1. What skills do the current recruiters seek?
2. What should grad students focus on other than research?
3. How does a typical day in your life look like?
