What a weekend at Pirate BJJ! 🏴‍☠️🥋 Huge thank you to Matt McPeake for coming in and teaching our crew. From hand fighting to surviving from the bottom, he gave us practical details, tough rounds, and plenty to keep working on. We’re thankful for coaches who show up, pour into the team, and help everyone level up. Thanks again, Matt — we appreciate you!

We love getting notes from our Pirate BJJ kids. 🖤💙 Handwritten notes, little drawings, funny messages, and sweet surprises from our students are some of our favorite reminders of why we do what we do. Jiu Jitsu is about learning skills on the mat, but it’s also about building confidence, connection, respect, and community. We’re so thankful for our Pirate crew and all the little moments that make this place feel like family.

A little bit of everything from around the mats lately 🏴‍☠️ Birthday party fun, women stepping onto the mats and trying something new, students earning stripes, kids building confidence, adults putting in work, and our Pirate BJJ crew doing what they do best — showing up, learning, laughing, and occasionally trying to fold each other in half. We love getting to be part of so many different moments: the big wins, the brave first steps, the birthday chaos, the hard-earned progress, and all the little in-between moments that make this community special. Thanks for letting us be part of your families, your goals, and your celebrations. ⚓️

☀️ Summer Camp at Pirate BJJ: because “I’m bored” starts approximately 11 minutes into summer break. 🏴‍☠️ Send your kids to us for a week of Jiu Jitsu, games, crafts, STEAM activities, snacks, and enough movement to maybe — just maybe — make bedtime easier. No promises. But we’re really going to try. They’ll build confidence, make friends, learn new skills, burn energy, and have a blast while you enjoy knowing they’re doing something fun, active, and screen-free-ish.

Summer Camp | Pirate BJJ Pirate BJJ Summer Camp is a fun-filled week for kids ages 4–12 packed with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, games, STEAM activities, and pirate-themed adventures.

Pirate BJJ showed up and showed out at the Chewjitsu competition this Saturday! 🏴‍☠️ Our crew hit the mats, battled hard, supported each other, and came home with some serious hardware:
🥇 4 Gold
🥈 6 Silver
🥉 3 Bronze
But even better than the medals? Watching our students step up, test themselves, cheer for their teammates, and keep growing every time they compete. We’re proud of every single competitor who represented Pirate BJJ with heart, grit, and good sportsmanship. The boarding party was strong this weekend. ⚓️
