Partner Highlight: Christ Presbyterian Church

For three days in August, Christ Presbyterian Church holds what is lovingly called "UNDIE SUNDAY." Church members donate socks, un**es, and pants. These extra clothes help ensure our Mendota scholars have what they need from the very first day of school!

Huge thanks to the Love Dane Madison volunteers who showed up for Mendota in a big way this week!

From helping teachers prep for the new school year and supporting our Back 2 School Bash to getting their hands dirty weeding, planting, and beautifying our outdoor spaces—they truly showed up inside and out!

And while contractors restore the green space around our new entrance (yay!), our very own community volunteer extraordinaire, Beth Sluys, helped bring some fresh life to the space with new plantings. When she is done, we will have over 100 native plants!

We are so grateful for this incredible community support!

Over 400 friends joined us for our Back 2 School Bash today!

So many smiles, hugs, fresh garden produce, Kona Ice, and fun! Thank you to everyone who came out.

Huge shoutout to our Mendota teachers and teams for an incredible week, and to Mr. Saul + Mr. Willie for getting our school ready! We appreciate you!
