Great effort on Thursday evening from our cross country girls and boys teams. We competed in the Northwest XC Invitational in Kernersville with over 900 registered runners from middle school through high school. Great effort yesterday from all of our runners, especially since this is the first year of running for many of our kids on our team. Special congratulations to our middle schooler Asher Shelton, for putting up a good time of.18:37 in the middle school boys two mile race and then of course we’re very proud of our senior, Paxton Paris for putting in a good time of 21.50 in the varsity boys three mile race . We’re looking forward to our next schedule meet at Noble Academy in Greensboro.

Thanks to everyone that came out tonight to support both our lady grizzlies volleyball teams against Oak Level Conquers. Our JV girls picked up a great win with tremendous team effort and winning 2-0.
Unfortunately our varsity girls lost 3-0 but were very close the first two sets and just came up short. Thanks to both our teams for their effort and we look forward to playing next week again. Pray for our girls to continue to grow and learn the game .

To God be the glory! We at TGCS just want to take a moment and brag on how good God is! All week we have heard great preaching and singing in our Spiritual emphasis week to kick off our school year. Today our God showed up in a big way as He always does when we get out of the way and let Him do what only He can. As pastor of our church I’ve been in many great chapels over the years and yes, many dead and dry ones but today was special. We had teens and adult teachers for over an hour or more praising our God and confessing sin and testifying to His goodness in their lives. In the end a ninth grader, Bentley Joyce was gloriously saved and another young man, Nick Hill received assurance of his salvation in Christ! Pray for us and for God to work in our school this year! Amen!

Thankful for a new school year at True Gospel Christian School and our 2nd year of offering middle school through high school soccer. Though we lost today to a very good team from Calvary Christian School, we have seen great improvement to our team from last season and we have added some very talented new players that we can begin to build our program around for the future. Appreciate our guys giving us good effort today in the match and thanks to the parental support from our parents as well.

We have the privilege of celebrating TWO very special birthdays today at TGCS! 💙🤍

Please join us in wishing a very Happy Birthday to Mrs. Kaylin Bridges and Mr. Daniel Smith!

Mrs. Kaylin Bridges is our wonderful 6th Grade teacher, and we are so thankful for the love, dedication, and care she pours into her students each day.

Mr. Daniel serves as one of our High School teachers and also as the Youth Pastor at True Gospel Independent Baptist Church. We are grateful for his heart for young people and his dedication to teaching and pointing them toward Christ.

We pray the Lord blesses both of you with a wonderful birthday and a year filled with His goodness, joy, and many blessings! ❤️
