Defenders take on Cornerstone Christian Monday.

The Flag Football team continues to roll on as they come home with 3 wins from Saturdays games. The Cannelton Bulldogs were unable attend so the game schedule was reorganized. The Defenders faced Grace Christian of Scottsburg winning 81-23 in the first game. Then from Fishers, Indiana CAM took on the Itown team defeating them think 77-22. Finally the Defenders picked up the ball one more game to face Columbus Christian. The Defenders struggled with fatigue and heat and by the second half found themselves behind on the scoreboard. But the Defenders pulled it together with their senior leadership and great teamwork to add another win to their record 63-48 over the Crusaders.

The little Defenders got some net time Thursday night as the 3rd/4th grade, 5th/6th grade and Middle school volleyball teams took the floor. The 3rd/4th grade team was defeated by Columbus Christian Crusaders but the 5th/6th and Middle school teams took the floor and didn't lose a set. Great job Defenders!!!

For the month of September, we’ll be running our Annual Calendar Fundraiser, which is CAM’s only fundraiser of the year. Because of its importance, we are asking every family to complete at least one full calendar.

Here’s how it works:
Ask family and friends to choose a date on your calendar.
They donate the corresponding amount and commit to pray for CAM.
No products to sell, no deliveries later—just simple support and prayer for our school!

The fundraiser runs from August 31 – September 30. Thank you in advance for helping us start the year strong!

Important Note: There are processing fees for donations made through the school website. For this reason, please collect funds and turn them in together. Only those sponsoring an entire calendar ($496) should give online through the school website.

MS & JV Lady Defenders traveled to Carrollton Monday night to face Christian Academy of Carrollton Eagles. MS started off a little shaky losing the first set but managed a comeback and defeated CAC 2-1. Congratulations to first year coaches Jada Yoder and Abbi Sorenson. The JV team took the court and saw some strong serving from the Eagles, the JV team fell 0-2. Thursday night our little Defenders take the court with 2 elem games followed by a MS game.

Christian Academy took the field for the first time this season in flag football. The Defenders continue their 3rd year undeadeated as they came out with a win against the Columbus Christian Crusaders 39-30. Next week will be a triple header on Saturday Aug.29th against, Scottsburg, Cannelton, and I-town. The game will be at the Wayne Park field in Columbus, IN.

The Lady Defenders were on the court Thursday night against the Crothersville Tigers. The Defenders were missing starter E. Fox who sustained an injury in Monday's game. CAM kept the sets close but lost 3-1 to the Tigers. Monday night the MS,Jv and Varsity teams travel to Carrollton, KY to take on the CAC Eagles. The MS begins at 5:30.

CAM hit the court for the first time this season against the Medora Hornets. The Defenders took the lead early and didn't look back beating the Hornets 3-0. Great job Lady Defenders.
