The Patriot Players have a huge announcement! We are THRILLED to announce our new director, Mrs. Delle Kincaid!

Delle Kincaid is a director and choreographer who, for the past 19 years, has served as the director of theater arts and co-director of the competitive show choir at Simmons Middle School. Prior to that, she taught in Huntsville City, Madison City, and Harlem NYC school systems. As a director and choreographer, she has worked with various groups across the state including Theatre Tuscaloosa (Tuscaloosa, AL), Lee Lyric Theater (Huntsville, AL), Mountain Brook High School, Beaux Arts Krewe (Birmingham, AL), and Academy Children's Theater (Huntsville, AL). In addition to musical theatre, Mrs. Kincaid has choreographed competitive show choirs around the state, and is also the co-director and choreographer for the award winning Paradigm (Hoover).
Mrs. Kincaid has her Masters of Education, holds a K-12 certification for Theater, and earned her National Board Certification in 2010. She is a member of the National Thespian Society, the Alabama Theater Educators Association, the Alabama Educators Association, and the National Educators Association. Previously, Mrs. Kincaid served on the executive board of the State Thespian Chapter and as Alabama’s State Thespian Festival Director.
Delle Kincaid is married to John (Choral Director, HHS) and are the proud parents of Matthew (20) who is a majoring in Political Science at Auburn University and Tess (15), a rising sophomore, who is an avid dancer, singer, and performer. Much to Mr. Kincaid’s chagrin, they have 4 cats: Phineas, Ferb, Perry, and Doofenshmirtz (Doofie). Mrs. Kincaid LOVES to cook and is not above bribing her students with baked goods. She is originally from Huntsville, and is excited to be moving back home.

Thank you Broadway Theatre League of Huntsville for working SO HARD to bring the Tallulah Awards (and therefore the Jimmy Awards) to Alabama! So honored to be the first recipient of this award! 🥰🥰

There was only one award given at The Tallulah Awards that did not go to a student in the 9th through 12th grades. And the “Theatre Educator of the Year” Award recipient was MARY DAVIS from Bob Jones Theatre!!

Mary started teaching theatre in 2001 and has been teaching theatre at Bob Jones High School for over 20 years. 42nd STREET was her SWAN SONG high school musical, also one of the top five Production of the Year finalists, as she is retiring this 2025-26 school year. CONGRATULATIONS MARY DAVIS!!
