Thank you Broadway Theatre League of Huntsville for working SO HARD to bring the Tallulah Awards (and therefore the Jimmy Awards) to Alabama! So honored to be the first recipient of this award! 🥰🥰
There was only one award given at The Tallulah Awards that did not go to a student in the 9th through 12th grades. And the “Theatre Educator of the Year” Award recipient was MARY DAVIS from Bob Jones Theatre!!
Mary started teaching theatre in 2001 and has been teaching theatre at Bob Jones High School for over 20 years. 42nd STREET was her SWAN SONG high school musical, also one of the top five Production of the Year finalists, as she is retiring this 2025-26 school year. CONGRATULATIONS MARY DAVIS!!

Join us in congratulating our very own Haley Clark, who played tap-dancing star Peggy Sawyer in our production of 42nd Street! Of 67 candidates, she's been selected as one of eight female semi-finalists who are nominees for "Best Actress" at the Tallulah Awards! We are so proud of her!!
Round two is this Monday, where the eight semifinalists will be narrowed down to four finalists. Break legs, Haley! We love you!

BIG NEWS!!! The Bob Jones cast and crew of 42nd Street are packing up and moving part of the show to the VBC on May 17th, to perform "We're in the Money" at the Tallulah Awards. Of all high schools participating in the awards program, our musical was one of only five shows nominated for PRODUCTION OF THE YEAR!!! So proud and so excited!!
Time to brush off those tap shoes!

Opening night was EPIC!!! Truly one of the best openings I’ve ever had. It was so exciting to see the audience love this show as much as I do. Love these kids, both on and off stage. Thankful for the team and village of people it takes to make this kind of magic.
