We are incredibly proud to celebrate our students who earned state and national recognition in the 2025–2026 PTA Reflections Arts Competition. Journey had more state-level honorees than any middle school in Alabama and tied for the most national honorees in the state!

🎉 Celebrating our National PTA Reflections winners!

These incredible students were recognized at the national level through the PTA Reflections program. They were selected from entries submitted by PTAs across the country, and their creativity, talent, and powerful voices truly stood out.

From dance and film to literature, music, photography, and visual arts, their work reflects this year’s theme, “I Belong,” in meaningful and inspiring ways.

Yesterday, we showed some love to our amazing Journey Middle School bus drivers in honor of National Bus Driver Appreciation Week! 🚌💛

These dedicated individuals show up every single day to safely get our students to and from school and they deserved every bit of recognition!

Thank you for your patience, your smiles, and your unwavering commitment to our students. We appreciate you! 💜
