✈️ Transportation Week in both Mrs. Mackenzie class and Mrs. Megan’s class! 🚗🚂🚁

Today, our students were challenged to use the collage materials at their tables to create something that could fly! 🛩️

They used their creativity and imagination to design their own flying vehicles while exploring different materials, shapes, and ways to build. We loved seeing all of their unique ideas take flight! 💛

🍋📚🤠 DOLLY DAY AT LEMON TREE ACADEMY! 🤠📚🍋

Today at Lemon Tree Academy, we celebrated the incredible life and legacy of Dolly Parton and the beautiful impact she has had on children and early childhood literacy! 💕📖

Through her Imagination Library, Dolly has helped put millions of books into the hands of young children, encouraging them to discover the joy of reading and showing children everywhere that every child deserves the opportunity to grow up surrounded by books and imagination. 🌟📚

Our LTA family celebrated Dolly in true Lemon Tree style! 🍋✨ Our students and teachers dressed up in their BEST Dolly-inspired outfits—cowboy hats, boots, sparkles, bright colors, butterfly wings, and so much more! 🤠🦋✨

We spent the day enjoying story time, crafts, music, dancing, laughter, and lots of imagination! 🎶📖🎨💃

What a wonderful reminder that reading can open doors, inspire dreams, and create lifelong memories. We are so thankful for the example Dolly has given children by making literacy, kindness, creativity, and imagination such an important part of childhood. 💗

“A book is a gift you can open again and again.” 📚💕

Happy Dolly Day from all of us at Lemon Tree Academy! 🍋💛

📚🚌 Our Pre-K students had an AMAZING time exploring the Literacy Bus today! 🚌📚

A huge THANK YOU to Mrs. Lamb and Mrs. Bone for always making these experiences so special and memorable for our students! ❤️

Our little learners had the opportunity to explore the Literacy Bus and, best of all, each student got to pick out a special book to take home! 📖✨

We believe literacy is so important, especially when we start building a love for reading at a young age. Every book opens the door to a new adventure, new ideas, and endless possibilities! 🌟📚

Thank you for helping us grow a love of reading in our little learners! 🍋💛

Keep reading, keep learning, and keep growing! 📚🌱

🚔💙 A BIG THANK YOU TO OUR COMMUNITY HELPERS! 💙🚔

We were so excited to welcome the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office to Lemon Tree Academy for a special visit with our students! 👮‍♀️👮‍♂️

Our little ones had the opportunity to learn more about what our sheriff’s deputies do every day, why their jobs are so important, and how they work hard to keep our community safe. It was such a wonderful experience for our students to meet the people who help protect and serve our community! 🥰

We are incredibly thankful for the time they took to visit with our children, answer questions, share their knowledge, and help our students understand the important role of community helpers. ❤️

Thank you, Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, for all you do for our community and for being such wonderful role models for our little ones! 🇺🇸💙

🍋🗑️ Our Community Helpers: Classic City Trash! 💛

Today at Lemon Tree Academy, we’re learning about some of the amazing people who help keep our community clean, safe, and beautiful! 🌳✨

Our friends at Classic City Trash are an important part of our community. Their responsibilities include collecting and removing trash, helping keep our neighborhoods and public areas clean, and making sure waste is properly taken care of. 🗑️🚛

Our little learners are discovering that community helpers work hard every day to serve others and make our community a better place to live. 💚

We want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to Classic City Trash and all of their hardworking employees! 👏💛 We appreciate the dedication, time, and hard work you put into keeping our community clean.

Thank you for being such an important part of our community! 🍋💛
