If you were among the tens of thousands who attended this year’s Brat Fest in Madison, you may have seen a familiar face when you got hungry.

President Manion was once again a “celebrity cashier” for the event which raises money each year for charities in Dane County. Dr. Manion, and the other all-volunteer staff, helped make a sunny Saturday at the annual event a success. Tim Metcalfe, organizer of the event, said more than 65,000 attended Brat Fest this year.

Congratulations to 𝗦𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗵 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗹𝘁𝗲, PhD, Associate Professor of Art History, recipient of the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗥. 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗸𝗼𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴!

Students say Dr. Stolte makes them feel “seen, heard, and capable,” while colleagues recognize her unwavering dedication and genuine care for students. “Sarah exemplifies a deep commitment to the whole student,” said Dr. Carolyn Ayers, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.

An alumna of Edgewood University, Sarah has spent the past decade inspiring undergraduate students through her passion for teaching, mentorship, and experiential learning.
