It gives me great pleasure to recognize Judith Abigail Perez-Tavera as our Valdictorian. Judi is the daughter of Simon Perez Hernandez and Martha Tavera Perez. Before attending James Madison, she was a student at Madison County Central School, where she completed her formative years. Since 2024, she has been an active participant in the FSU Upward Bound Program, where she had the opportunity during the summer to intern and live on campus. Inspired by this experience, Judith applied to the FSU Panama City campus, where she was accepted and plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in accounting. At the conclusion of her high school experience, she will have already received her AA from NFC. She is exiting high school with a 4.741

It gives me great pleasure to recognize our salutatorian, Skyler Lynn Rosado. She is the daughter of Georgia Link. She currently attends James Madison Preparatory High School and is dually enrolled at North Florida College, recently graduating with her Associate of Arts degree. In her free time, she participates in creative activities such as sewing, painting, baking, and crocheting. She is ending her tenure as president of the Student Government Association and president of the National Honor Society. She also served as Beta Club historian and as the editor of the school newspaper and literary magazine. Additionally, she’s played varsity tennis for the Madison County High School team. She is ending her high school career with a GPA of 4.727.
