Remember the first time your Art Teacher made you draw a portrait?
Mine said, "DRAW" but never gave any instruction or direction at all. The results, on the left, were somewhat less than satisfying.
When I was 15 years old, I was taught a simple, quick, and accurate method of drawing a portrait and getting the proportions correct the first time. I turned that knowledge into a lifetime career of portrait painting.
Who'd have thought a simple art lesson would result in the creation of portraits that actually look like real people!!
