US Chess is excited to announce that registration and hotel reservations are now open for the 2026 US Chess National Grade K through 12 Championships in Orlando, Florida.

National Puzzle Solving Championship Returns

The National Puzzle Solving Championship is returning in partnership with ChessKid. The championship will feature two sections, K through 6 and 7 through 12, with prizes awarded to the top solvers in each section.

Discounted Universal Studios Tickets

Planning to make a vacation out of your trip to Orlando? US Chess has partnered with Universal Studios to offer discounted park tickets to championship participants and families. Discounted passes are limited and available on a first come, first served basis.

The 98th Wisconsin Closed Championship / Marshall Rohland Memorial is coming up August 14–16 in Johnson Creek, featuring a $3,000 prize fund, Premier, Reserve & Novice sections, multiple schedule options, and live DGT broadcasts of the top boards!
