It hasn't been a great harvest this year for our garden, but there are finally a few things in the harvest share basket! Please take what you will use, but leave the basket.

We'll have garlic ready to take at Back to School night next week!

It's almost time to reopen the FAB Lab for the new school year! As I was cleaning and organizing over the summer, I realized that we need to use vertical space better for storing all of our awesome materials.

This Donors Choose project has a new tall shelf for the "Storage Fortress" and some new clear bins. Thanks to a donation match from the Madison Public Schools Foundation it only needs $90 to fully fund it!

Green beans are ready and so are some of the tomatoes in the Henderson Garden! Pears will be ready soon, too. Bring a bucket and pick what you can use.

The raspberries are ready to pick! Bring gloves for the thorns and be prepared for mosquitoes! Mrs. Milewski was prepared while she pulled weeds today!

Radishes are ready! They are on the table by the garden. Come and take what you can use, but please leave the bowl behind.

📣 It's the last call for Henderson cherries! They will be over-ripe by the end of the weekend, so come and pick them while you can!

It's cherry time! Bring a bucket, gloves, and bug spray and get your tart cherries from the tree in the Henderson Garden!

These cherries make great jam, but most people think they are a little too sour to eat by themselves.

The parade of tasty things from the Henderson Garden has begun!

First up is garlic scapes. Do you like pesto? You'll love garlic scape pesto. If you want to get some, come and get them from the picnic table near the Henderson garden (but please leave the bowl!)

Up next will be tart cherries. They could be ready as soon as next week. I'll keep you posted.

Looking for some family-friendly fun this weekend? Stop by the Overture Center for the Madison Symphony Orchestra's 100th anniversary! There are tons of experiences and concerts on both Saturday and Sunday, and everything is free.

Mrs. Milewski will be running the Musical Makerspace booth on Sunday. Ms. Ceara recommends the Family Concert on Saturday at 11:00, where her friend will be creating a live illustration during one of the orchestra's performances.

Join us for the Madison Symphony Orchestra's closing festival weekend to celebrate our centennial season on June 13-14 at Overture Hall!
