This week, we’re excited to spotlight one of our newest research associates, Emma Porterwinkel! Emma is a doctoral student in ELPA Higher Education and a member of the Ed_PERC Computing Sciences Education Research Team ( ). Drawing on her experiences as a K–12 and current higher education , Emma’s research explores how early elementary experiences shape students’ pathways to , particularly for students from historically underrepresented backgrounds.
